Orders, payment and shipping
When you order, we process the data needed for the contract: name, delivery and billing address, and email address. This data goes, as far as necessary to process the order, to:
- our payment provider, USA. The recipient is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for such recipients the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection.
- our printing and shipping partner, EU and USA. For the EU states the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection. The transfer to the USA is directly connected with the performance of your order (Art. 17 para. 1 let. b FADP).
- our IT provider for the order database and server functions, servers in Switzerland. Access from the USA is directly connected with the performance of your order (Art. 17 para. 1 let. b FADP).
- our hosting provider for the website and email delivery, Switzerland.
Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, we process your name, your email address and your message in order to reply to you. To guard against abuse, the IP address is briefly evaluated in memory; it is not stored permanently.
Newsletter
When you sign up for the newsletter, we process your email address and your language choice. The signup only takes effect once you confirm it via the link in our email (double opt-in); as evidence we store the time and IP address of the signup and of the confirmation. For sending the newsletter, this data is shared with our newsletter delivery provider, EU. For EU member states, the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter.
Storage on your device
In the browser we store the contents of your cart, your cookie decision and a note that a completed order has already been counted. The statistics and advertising services named below also store cookies on your device. We tell you so on your first visit (Art. 45c let. b TCA). You can refuse this processing and change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer or via the link in the “Objection” section.
Statistics and advertising
We use the following services to improve the shop, to measure whether our own advertising works and to show you our products again later in ads. They are active by default; you can switch them off individually at any time under “Cookie settings”. We rely on our interest in a working shop and in effective advertising for our own products (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP). We do not sell data and do not pass it on to anyone other than the providers named.
- Google Tag Manager (Google LLC, USA): technically manages the services named below and sets no cookies of its own. Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for such recipients the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA): analyses which pages and products are viewed, how often, and how orders come about. Google Analytics does not store complete IP addresses. Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for such recipients the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection. In addition, “Google signals” are switched on: if you are signed in to Google and have allowed personalised ads, Google links this usage data to your Google account and builds visitor lists from it, which we use to show you our products again in Google ads. When you order, we store the Google Analytics ID with the order and also report the purchase server-side (order number, order value, products bought), so that orders paid with TWINT are counted too. You switch Google signals off under “Cookie settings”, category “Marketing”. Can be switched off under “Cookie settings”, category “Statistics”.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Ireland, and Meta Platforms, Inc., USA): measures whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram leads to visits and purchases. For this, Meta sets a cookie and receives details of the pages viewed, the cart and the purchase, as well as technical data about your browser and device, including the IP address. Meta also builds visitor lists from these details so that we can show you our products again on Facebook and Instagram. On a purchase we send the order data also server-side to Meta: the e-mail address only as a hash value, IP address, browser, order value and the products bought, so that Meta can attribute the purchase to our advertising. This happens only while marketing is switched on under “Cookie settings”. For Ireland the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection. Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for such recipients the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection. Can be switched off under “Cookie settings”, category “Marketing”.
- Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd., Ireland, and Google LLC, USA): measures whether our ads on Google lead to purchases and shows you our products again in Google ads. For this, Google adds you to visitor lists (for example “viewed a product” or “added something to the cart”) and receives the pages viewed and the numbers of the products viewed; you stay on these lists for at most 540 days. If you reach the shop through a Google ad, we store the click ID from the address bar for up to 90 days in your browser and, when you order, with the order; Google sets a cookie for this. On a purchase Google receives from the browser the click ID, the order number, the order value and the products bought. Server-side we send the same details plus the e-mail address, only as a hash value, and whether it is your first order with us, so that Google can attribute the purchase to our advertising. This happens only while marketing is switched on under “Cookie settings”; if you switch it off, we also delete the stored click ID. For Ireland the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection. Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for such recipients the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection. Can be switched off under “Cookie settings”, category “Marketing”.
- Pinterest Tag (Pinterest Europe Ltd., Ireland, and Pinterest, Inc., USA): measures whether our Pins and our advertising on Pinterest lead to visits and purchases. For this, Pinterest sets a cookie and receives details of the pages viewed, the cart and the purchase, as well as technical data about your browser and device, including the IP address. This happens only while marketing is switched on under “Cookie settings”. For Ireland the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection. Pinterest, Inc. is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; for such recipients the Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection. Can be switched off under “Cookie settings”, category “Marketing”.
Objection (opt-out)
You can switch off statistics and advertising at any time under “Cookie settings”, in the footer of every page or directly via the link below. Your choice is stored in your browser and applies from the next page load. If you clear your browser data, we show you the notice again on your next visit.
